* On August 6, Team ALODF ran a 10k to raise funds for the American Living Organ Donor Fund. 10 
runners ran at the 10th annual ACE Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine Institute W&OD 10K in Vienna VA, and 1 runner ran at the Big Ten 10k in Chicago. As a team we raised $5,006!
Before and after the race in Vienna, VA, different companies and non-profit organizations, including Team ALODF, displayed information about their products and/or organization at a fair near the starting line. At our table we teamed with friends from Be The Match to register potential bone marrow donors. Thirteen people joined the bone marrow registry! and Team ALODF was able to educate those that approached our exhibition table regarding living organ donation.
All 11 runners finished the race and overall it was a success! We would like to thank all the runners and those who sponsored Team ALODF. THANK YOU!!!

We hope to do this again next year, hopefully with a bigger team and even more money raised to help living organ donors save lives.
